Arte Américas - ❀ Isabelle O'Neill ❀, Week 4

☙❂✵Week 4✵❂❧

❦    Hi guys! Wow, it's my final week of my internship, and I am not ready for it to end. I'm still working with marketing and development, as well as some more projects with Excel. I've helped many people renew their memberships and been in contact with some pretty important donors, like the former mayor of Fresno and other important business people in the Central Valley.

Hi Sudan!
❦    On Tuesday, my boss decided to take me on a little field trip over to a marketing agency building down the street. The building was historic, and actually used to be a theater. I learned a lot about the various roles within a marketing agency, ranging from web developers to an audio engineer. I don't have many pictures of the building since people were working and it was a bit of a short tour, but I did get this picture of a rhino statue. I got to learn more about the businesses in downtown Fresno, and it really opened my eyes to a place that I had assumed I knew well enough.
❦    On Wednesday, I was working again and was invited to the last staff meeting that I could attend. It consisted of more updates and also of celebrating the past 4 weeks of my internship. I even got a cupcake! (No pictures though. I ate it immediately.) I am extremely grateful that I ended up with such kind people who love what they do.
❦
Very cool poster
Thursday was kind of hectic. It was Art Hop, a b
ig event for the art organizations in Fresno, and Arte Américas uses their space for vendors to sell while also leaving the exhibition open to the public. I was helping out over at the front desk for a bit, but then got moved over to watch the movie
that Arte was showing to the public, Pedro Páramo (2024)
❦    My last day was super chill, and I finished my last projects. I was gifted a poster as a goodbye present, of my favorite piece in the whole collection. Most of the staff were out on a trip, so my day was even quieter than usual, and most of my goodbyes were said the day before. I said my last goodbyes to my boss and the other people who came to work, and even left a bit early!
❦    I loved my experience working here, and I can't believe it's already over. I have learned so much in such a short amount of time, and I cannot wait for the next chapter in my life, college.

Thank you all for reading, and gracias Ford!!!
