  ☙❂✵Week 4✵❂❧ ❦    Hi guys! Wow, it's my final week of my internship, and I am not ready for it to end. I'm still working with marketing and development, as well as some more projects with Excel. I've helped many people renew their memberships and been in contact with some pretty important donors, like the former mayor of Fresno and other important business people in the Central Valley. Hi Sudan! ❦    On Tuesday, my boss decided to take me on a little field trip over to a marketing agency building down the street. The building was historic, and actually used to be a theater. I learned a lot about the various roles within a marketing agency, ranging from web developers to an audio engineer. I don't have many pictures of the building since people were working and it was a bit of a short tour, but I did get this picture of a rhino statue. Today marks the end of my community practicum at the Frost Museum of Science. This will be my last blog :,-( As I did last week, I will be mainly focusing on my experience and the information learnt instead of visuals, and alas, this will be a long one. I feel like time is just passing by so quickly. This week was quite the experience, so buckle your seat beats and get ready for takeoff 😄🛫! As mentioned at the end of last week’s blog (which hopefully you all read, and if not, you must read it first!) This week I had the amazing opportunity to read with the one and only Lucky Diaz! Lucky Diaz is not only a multi-Grammy award-winning and six-time Emmy-nominated musician, but also an excellent children’s book author! I had the pleasure of having him join me for my community outreach event.  A little background, YAP requires each intern to host a community outreach event in their local area as a way to promote early childhood literacy.
