Los Angeles County Museum of Art– Carlos Madrid Week 2
Los Angeles County Museum of Art– Carlos Madrid Week 2
I'm back! Better Late than never! Towards the beginning of the week I had a lot of insightful conversations regarding how our identities deeply influence how we interact with art and art museums.
Additionally I was able to more thoroughly explore LACMA and see numerous galleries and artwork. I was about to grasp lessons from artists such as Pablo, Picasso, Diego Rivera, Wangechi Mutu, and many more! Attached below is the infamous Flower Day by Diego Rivera. I like this piece not only because of the innate design but also because of the beautiful frame which compliments it, something which is often overlooked within art history!

One of my favorite things about the LACMA education department is all of the furry friends I've been able to meet while working! Additionally throughout the week I continued to prepare materials for both docents and students for the upcoming year!
